Downloaded and installed worked perfectly I was worried about the overclock , but then used the rom toolbox and saw the stock settings were 1200 mhz. I rooted and did webtops hack and webtop to sd perfectly. I do hope that someone does recompile the overclock.ko for this kernel though I had mine overclocked 1800 mhz and miss that.

Used this to update to 2233 fine. No issues. Used it again to update to 229 yesterday. I tried modifying my XML file so it wouldn't wipe my internal SD or data. I thought there were only two lines for that. Didn't realize there was a third for pushing an image to the internal SD. But my data did stay intact. Only lost my internal SD which made some things act wonky. LoL still ended up wiping data cause of this. No biggie. Hour later I was fine and back to rocking happily.

Downloaded went to extract and it failed on a bad file. The files to update where fine but the root folder was empty. Re downloading it now and will report back.

"Unexpected end of archive" Is what i get from 7zip.

Use 7zip to extract it. Everything you need to update will extract just fine. The root folder and the zip to RSD to .902 are whats broken in the archive. .902 can be found all over the forums in many places.

Go here to root it.

Default .230 to AOSP

I used the OP's instructions to get to .230, thanks! I also rooted and installed SU supervisor from Market.

I want to go to one of the CyanogenMod/AOSP Based rom's from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1328100.

In my attempt to do that, I installed Rom Manager 5.0.0.8 from the Market, but I don't think it's working. It doesn't seem to flash CWM, because I can't get my phone to boot into recovery - (and the stock recovery still exists).

Any help to get from .230 to AOSP would be really appreciated. Any reasons I shouldn't try to get to AOSP? I'm looking for the quickest software. Thanks!

Default On .230 How to flash back to stock .902 or .905

So after flashing all of this, Everything worked great.
Is there anyway I can flash back to .902 or .905 for the actual REAL OTA update if I stay on .230?
