you should make a windows partition on your mac and install windows 7 on it i did it last week no more worries about windows only procedures and programs.

check if it worked?

I used this tool and it said it went through and passes and success and what not but I do not know how to verify if my bootloaders unlocked. I dont have that warning screen or anything. How can i check?

EDIT: I just put it into fastboot and says device: UNLOCKED status code 3. So it appears to have worked which is great, but is it bad that I am not seeing any sort of warning of my bootloader being unlocked when i turn my phone on?

Are you using a custom bootlogo? If yes, then that's why. What ever the case may be, you can get the warning back by flashing a stock logo.img from any Motorola msm8960 phone.

That makes not one bit of sense. Even more so, you're asking for help but provide no information for us to help you. What android version are you on? were you previously bootloader unlocked? were your rooted? what did you do to brick? what is your device doing to make you think that it is bricked?

You're right. The AtrixHD is an AT&T version. It doesn't belong to me. My friend told me that it was rooted but no bootloader unlocked! She really doesn't know the android version but I suppose it was 4.1.x. She was using iFonts app (from the PlayStore) when the phone rebooted and freeze at AT&T logo. I tried in recovery mode wipe Cache... nothing... restore Factory... nothing... Then I tried RSD Lite using AT&T ROMs... nothing... RSD show an error message flashing boot.img. Then I tried flashing using command lines... but at the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" failed. Show "Preflash validation failed" message. Finally I tried MythTools in order to unlock the bootloader but the phone doesn't respond. Still LOCKED in fastboot mode. After all of this I'm asking for help! Thanks!

The first thing I can think of is using moto-fastboot instead of RSD and MythTools. I believe there is a copy of it somewhere on the Moto X or G or one of the Moto something or other devices. I'll see if I can track that down. That should fix the flashing issue. Flashing ATT 4.1.1 is the best option right now, b/c you don't want to risk hard bricking on a downgrade.

You should grab that and open up the xml file that is with the 4.1.1 stock zip and follow the script line by line with moto-fastboot (*IMPORTANT - MAKE SURE TO HAVE ALL 4.1.1 FILES AND MOTO-FASTBOOT IN THE SAME LOCATION ON YOUR COMPUTER. ex: for me, I have everything in a folder on my desktop. You also may need to run cmd from start menu to get moto-fastboot to work (I renamed mine to fastboot even though I know its moto-fastboot). so for me, I go "cd desktop" "cd adb-fastboot" without quotation marks to get to the right location and to the fastboot file*).

I couldn't fix the Atrix. I tried everything. My friend took the cell to a Motorola Repair Service.
Thanks for your attention all the time!

    FAQ's

Do I need to ditch safestrap?
-No. You can leave Safestrap where it is for now.

Can I flash a normal recovery?
-Yes, at the moment there are existing CWM and TWRP (new and recommended recoveries that Hascode made. Stock recovery is inside the FXZ files and it can be flashed alone.

Can I Flash Anything I can do now?
-Yes, but things need to be developed at this point, this is NEW territory for Motorola

Can I now flash different kernels or radios?
-Yes, you can flash ANYTHING you want

Is my phone basically the same as the Dev edition now?
-Yes, from what we can gather, anything that boots on the dev edition will also work on your unlocked device

How to I Get Rid of the ANNOYING "Bootloader Unlocked Warning" Boot screen?
-Once you have unlocked you bootloader and are afraid of the annoying "Bootloader Unlocked" warning which comes everytime you reboot.

here is a solution by @tucstwo which replaces it with the moto logo.
Just make sure you've got your drivers installed, USB debugging is enabled and that you have UNZIPPED this package BEFORE you run it.

    Download Link Below

    Unzip
    Plug in Phone
    Hit "Run"

any one got a link to TWRP?

    http://goo.im/devs/Hashcode/vanquish/twrp-2.4.4.0-recovery-vanquish.img

Here's the RAZR HD thread with instructions Pretty much the same as the CWM ones I posted, only you have to make a backup first thing when it boots into TWRP after its install.

I've read that Hashcode is going to write a TWRP just for us so I'm going to wait until then.

This is to unlock bootloaders man not the network settings. As for receiving ota's no you won't get official ones. But you'll be able to flash it after it comes out if wanted. If you want to remain stock though there's no purpose in unlocking the bootloader.

Yeah I got the drivers installed im gonna reinstall and see if that works
*I reinstalled the drivers and the only driver not installing is Motorola Networking Interface
If this dont work ill return to stock and reroot my razr m
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium

i think that's the coz if u are on custom rom return to stock enable usb debugging usb drivers on pc and then try again it should work
