[Q] Viewsonic Viewpad 10E wifi issue.
I'm trying to sort out a friends Viewsonic Viewpad 10E tablet. It kept failing to connect to my home wifi signals (I have two separate connections) so I did some searching and found the official update to ICS for the tablet. Managed to flash it by following Viewsonics procedures and still had a few issues with the wifi. I get it connected to one of my Wifi's but it's so slow it's unusable. I've played with the settings on the tab I can find and the routers settings and nothings helped. It either times out loading a page, even google.co.uk can take 5 minutes to load the search page but afterwards a search takes seconds but when selecting a link to view a page it seems to just freeze up. The blue bar (in the default browser) gets to around 8% and doesn't seem to move then eventually times out, I've had it go up to about 70% after 10 minutes once before timing out. The info on the wireless is saying it's connected at 65mbps.
I've done a factory reset, don't wipes by going into the root menu (the tablets rooted by the way as I installed a custom ICS version on it that was pre-rooted).
Can anyone suggest anything that can solve this issue please? Surely it shouldn't be that slow on wireless.
Also does anyone know if there's a modified version of JellyBean for the Viewpad 10E or one that will work on the 10E?
