A: Why use AVG? It's overprotective. Even if you had downloaded the app from it's own homepage it would say it was infected.

An appstore that is run by someone who
A) is telling people to turn off their virus scanner...And
B) has no requirements for admission of the app...

Now this...guy. He's ASKING for a Darwin award. :)

But that's the least of our suspicions. Indeed, even if we suspend our disbelief for a minute, we're smacked in the face with further transgressions.

Apparently----. ""Stockpile is a 3rd party App Store for android devices. You don't need to have root to use this app, however as Stockpile gets in it final stages, it will have features which can only be used if your android device is rooted."" Really? Here here, aye aye, oi oi.

They say that a man's body of work reflects his character. If this is true, i just want to know one thing. Is there some method of tracking the growth of an application store over time? Presumably, we'll want to know it before this one becomes sentient and it's drive for self-actualization leads it to wipe out it's designers in what could only be described as "The Great Stockpile War of 2014 -- One Store's Quest For Root Apps and the Souls of it's Innocent Users. "

I hope that isn't what happened to fireplace...

In all seriousness, I wish you the best brother...but you could definitely use some spit & polish on the communications side of everything. Your application sounds more threatening/menacing the anything. Anyways, if you'd ever like me to proofread anything, send it on over. (I'll do a good job... on a real keyboard.).

I tried some antivirus on my phone once, it could have been AVG.. I uninstalled it when it started complaining about "superuser" being a virus.. So I think that AVG is overprotective, and that the problem is not Faceniff or Fireplace..

    Agree.

to spxc: How to trust your third party market? Are you planning something to prevent malware, spam and malicious software?
It is a big problem of alternate markets...

Yes! i have started all of the apps, and debugged them with the source. I'm looking into all the apps source code :) I will also make a automated check later on!
