Oh wait you are flashing the release. Yeah the release doesnt work on tilapia, please download the latest nightly found here:

http://goo.im/devs/carbon/tilapia/nightly/CARBON-JB-NIGHTLY-20130619-0725-tilapia.zip

Then again factory reset, wipe system, cache and dalvik. Flash carbon nightly, flash gapps 20130301 and then reboot.

Should work then :)

You need to write cool instalation guide and description abaout what version need to download, because i canot understand :D But thank when bee time i try... wright now my old ROM

Thanks again devs... running the 6/19 nightly and all working fine. Did just go with the full wipe coming from CM10.1. Was not looking forward to re-doing the 3 profiles :)
Anyway, I noticed a considerable different in size from the 6/19 to 6/21 nightlies. 75MB versus 115MB repectively; is their a problem with the 6/21 upload or is that good to go?

Cheers

If you are downloading from the mattman mirror, it seems to sometimes have issues with the uploads. A 75mb zip is not a normal size and is dysfunctional so please dont flash it, try to get it off goo or wait until tomorrows nightly :)

There was one nightly build which caused issues with my tablet.

What I remember, I was trying to enable Privacy Guard for a few of my apps. Suddenly the tablet shut down. And it won't boot past the carbon boot animation. It stays that way for hours.

I had no choice but to do a TWRP backup, factory reset, system and data wipe (excluding /data/media), clean install of the rom and Titanium Backup to restore my apps+data from TWRP backup. It took me two days to recover my tablet to the way it was before.

Despite that major issue, I continue using this rom. I like Carbon rom because it's smooth and feature-packed: Halo, pie control, privacy guard, statusbar quick peek, etc.

Obviously I can't give a logcat because the issue occurred about a few weeks ago.

I'm happy with Carbon rom now. (Now give me latest update! hahaha)

    About Carbon

CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.

Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. Support

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:

    1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.

    2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!

    3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.

    4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

This is fabulous! Have been using Carbon on my VZ SGS3 for months now, on the nightlies. Love the HALO.

Is HALO incoorporated into the tilapia version also? And can one flash over CM10.1 without a data wipe? Maybe just a system/cache/dalvik wipe?

Halo is in all the nightlies for all devices. I would HIGHLY recommend a full wipe (factory reset, system, cache, dalvik, data) when switching from another rom, even CM.
