HEX SYNC Has some issues with HTC phones... accoriding to there FAQ... i tried it but didnt work right... resolution estimate = TBD
HaxSync synchronized my friend's profile picture, but it's still pixelated!¶
HaxSync synchronizes contact pictures in the highest possible resolution. (256 pixels on Android 4.0, 720 on 4.1).
However, some contacts could still have low-res pictures on your phone.
There are three reasons why this might happen:
Your friend has his privacy settings restricted and does not allow Apps to access his galleries. In this case, HaxSync has to fall back to the lower-res image available without gallery access.
The picture your friend uploaded to Facebook is low-resolution itself. HaxSync cannot magically create more pixels
You have a device with HTC Sense. HTC broke something related to contact images in their modifications of the Android System.
This is quite hard for me to debug as I don't have access to any Sense devices. See this ticket for more information: #71.
and under #71 these are the last entries from which one is mine... unsure if or when this will eb udpated or fixed.. seems like there is no update for a couple days now... so no hope on that front....

I would be very interested in logfiles of your contact sync.

I tried contacting the folks at HTC regarding this issue but they "do not provide developer support" on htcDEV.com. :/

Having the same issues as everyone here as well. Upgraded to a HTC One X from a Google Nexus S. Now my contacts look like pixel art. Hopefully you get this sorted out for Sense devices. Thanks!

Same here and it's very annoying. Thought I read in an update log some time back that it was fixed but it never changed the problem for me. also unfortunatly no refund available!
