That would be exactly what I did wrong then, but now I am so freaked about it I dunno if I wannt try it again. I had the phone rooted using Kingo and had Wanam and Xposed installed all working. So I didnt have a recovery mode installed (TWRP nor CWM) I was afraid of tripping Knox. So I just wanted to change the files that way. I guess I did it wrong
Now I think I am going to wait for a way to do it where I can root (Kingo Style), Wanam / Xposed installer, and then just have maybe an app that works for it (WiFi Tether used to work on my SG2). Im worried about changing the root files again, as well as adding a recovery.
