[Q] Battery life problems?
I own the AT&T Galaxy S3 SGH-i747 and I am rooted and running ParanoidAndroid 3.99 RC1 (The latest version). I love the ROM, but there is one thing that has been bugging me with this ROM.... battery life.
I was running CyanogenMod 10.1 for about 3 months before I switched to ParanoidAndroid on Sunday. I was getting about 9-10 hours before my battery reached 15% on CyanogenMod with moderate usage, but on ParanoidAndroid i'm only getting 6-7 hours while my phone is on standby.
I was wondering what is causing the problem. My phone is mainly on 4G LTE all day because my school does not offer free Wifi, so I thought that might be the major contributor. When I open up my battery settings, however, I find out that Google Services has used up most of the battery... what does it mean by that, and how can I stop them? If that's not what's killing my battery, is it because I'm running 4.3 jellybean instead of 4.2.2? Will my phone get used to the new OS over time?
Thank you in advance for your help.
