Yup! It'll nag your battery faster then say, 66 baseband. Baseband has a big impact on batt life. And I think 66 is the best for battery life.

Yeas it does. Baseband 77 use more resources, cause its from Ics. So if you are using a Gb rom just flash baseband .66. You can flash som tweaks to improve bat life also.
