I've got a hardware issue with my power button. I've got insurance on the phone, but I've read that the newest firmware prevents replacing the aboot.img and trips a qfuse to prevent downgrading.
It sounds like if I get the phone replaced, the replacement will probably have the updated firmware on it, so I won't be able to unlock and get CM on it.
Is this right? Is there some workaround?
