I was playing with my Defy Plus to clean all bloat as far as possible.
Here what I found: removing those files after installing another launcher the phone booted and could make/receive calls and surf the net (no mail, no messages, no camera, nothing).
I probably have some CPU load issue with this configuration, but did not test deeply yet.

I removed a lot of stuff without messing with the standard phone operations like sms or mail sync, and I freed up almost 100mb of RAM.
