When you press the combination, what does show on the screen? S/W Upgrade and recovery are different
Its S/W Upgrade mode
Its S/W Update mode I know the difference
Volume down Down+A+F+Power get you to hard reset you phone
Volume Up+E+Power get you into S/W Upgrade to reflash the ROM or to Update using LG tool
Now we need to find the combo to go to Recovery mode not just by the Hard reset.

Just flashed cm 9 nightly from last night...random reboots.I may switch back to cm7 rc3.

I got the game, mass effect infiltrator last night and tried to play it. It said that its not compatible with my device even though there are reviews with the LG mytouch on there. Could the compatibility issue be that I'm on cm7? :\

Is there any way to change it on CM9 so that the light for the soft keys do not turn on unless you touch them? They would remain off on CM7 even when touching the screen unless the actually soft keys were pressed.
I also wonder if theirs a way to turn soft keys off when not in use... seems like a battery killer.

Try doing a full wipe and format system, then reflash. I didn't get any random reboots with CM9.

It not as buggy as I wax expecting. I only noticed random reboots as a bug which I don't even really get anymore.

Well Samsung phones light up when touching the screen. My phone reboots all the time at the lock screen.. I'm on cm9 5/14 but I'm still using it lol

are you still working on miui4?
And by looking at your catlog allot of things are falling that shouldn't be but what's causing them to fail but it's not saying why it's failing then again I read the it real quick.

We're working on a GB based MIUIv4.
And we're getting a kernel panic right after the rom boots.
what can be the problem?

That's your problem right there. Miui4 is built around ics. Have you tried using the latest cm9 kernel with your current build

7Sorry guys I've been real busy lately. I have a **** load of projects going on. I tried making a stock rooted ROM but for some reason it won't flash. I haven't had much of a chance to really look at it. I've also been working on my GB miui build. I also need to finish porting lewa os. I'm also working on acsop. Acsop is something we at acs decided to do to compete with cm, aokp, miui, n lewa os. I also have my tweaked version of cm7. Last night I finally decided to make the jump to cm9. In my mind it's not stable enough for me to do miui4 or anything else to do. We're also getting nighties daily n I just don't got the time to redo miui every day. Once we get an rc I'll do miui4. I've also been working on getting kdz to work.
What you guys need to remember is I do this for free on my own time. I do have a job, 4 kids, and other hobbies.
