I have a Elephone P7000 and would like to use this.
To install it I unziped the latest Viper4Android FX 4.x v2.3.4.0 version and istalled it.
After starting the app I got asked if I like to install a driver and I answered "Yes" and choosed "Super Audio Quality" (also tried with Hogh Audio Quality).
I then started the "Musik" app that has been in my Stock (rooted) ROM already but it doesnt work.
I then wanted to set this:
Ipa.decode=true to lpa.decode=false
tunnel.decode=true to tunnel.decode=false
lpa.use-stagefright=true to lpa.use-stagefright=false
But there was nothing in my build.prop ...
I then tried "Force Enable V4A" but it doesnt work.
I also tried the Compatible Mode with and without "Force Enable V4A" but it didnt work.
I then tried this:
Download and extract the zip from the OP.
Create a folder in /system/priv-app/ named Viperfx with permissions set to 0755.
Copy the viper4.apk from the zip to the new folder and rename to Viperfx.apk and set permissions to 0644.
Reboot.
Selinux environment needs to be permissive or use the enforcing script. Search this thread if you need more info on this obstacle.
And started music and the V4A app but it wasnt working so I uninstalled the driver, reboot and installed it again.
It then gave me NO option to choose between "Super Audio Quality", "High Audio Quality" and "Power Saving"...
It just said "Driver installed, please reboot your device." - what I did.
I then started my stock music app and a song and then opened the V4A app.
I now can use the settings (not fully tested... but the equalizer works) under "Phone Speaker".
The Driver status show me then:
Driver Veriosn: 2.3.4.0
NEON Enabled: No
Enabled: Yes
Status: Normal
Audio Fromat: Supportd
Processing: Yes
Sampling Rate: 44100
When I then put my inear speaker into the phone it doesnt work.
Musik still plays but now the driver status is:
Driver Veriosn: 2.3.4.0
NEON Enabled: No
Enabled: Yes
Status: Normal
Audio Fromat: Supportd
Processing: No
Sampling Rate: 44100
I then have to stop the "music" app and reopen it, start a song and the equalizer work under "Headset".
1. Is this normal?
2. Why could I choose "Super Audio Quality", "High Audio Quality" and "Power Saving" but not any more now?
If I now put the speakers out. The sound stops.
