Custom kernel for miui 3.2.22

I wanted to try miui for a little bit but i want to flash custom kerrnel... so:
Is it ok just to flash custom kernel to miui? do i need sense based or aosp?

I believe you can flash a custom kernel.

The Kernel though would have to match the MIUI base.

There are MIUI Roms that have a sense base and some that are AOSP.

Yeah, mine is sense based but I got error while trying to flash a kernel... But I found a secure boot zip or something like that and it worked... Thx anyway!
