Maybe you can create one image of png type 1x1 pixels and name it make it fully transparent, name it stat_sys_battery_0.png make another 100 copies name and name accordingly (from 0 to 100) now using es file explorer open /system/app/SystemUI.apk
replace all SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi/stat_sys_battery_nn.png with the 1 pixel transparent version. Do this for stat_sys_battery_charge_anim0.png (from 0 to 100) replace all that start with stat_sys_battery_ with your image.

If you want the icons back you can reflash res manager.

It's a bit troublesome but its possible and the satisfaction you get is worth the effort.

Edit:
You can also use apktool to re-mod SystemUI.apk and revert the 100 values res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml to the 7 values one. Then do above post and it would be easier. If you want the icons back flash both modpack and res manager.

uhh, I just finished the HEQS settings page to hide/show and reorder HEQS buttons. Hope that will be in the modpack's next release.

I think it would be possible to change the actual HEQS brightness button click behavior, to display a dialog with a slider to adjust brightness. But I think that behavior is not really the main purpose of my toggles, created to act like the HTC control widgets.

May be it could be possible to directly display the brightness settings small dialog when long click the HEQS button. Guess it could be a good alternative.

But first I plan to add such controls like screen timeout and powersaver buttons.
