IRC is not a bad idea... If only there was a good enough IRC client on the Android Market... But I think some kind of social network like Twitter or GPlus is more of a "sure thing"... If we make an IRC channel, it's gotta be between us. We wouldn't like some random bored kid to come join in and spam the crap out of the channel.
I think something like that'd be best. With a social network we can keep all the people we don't need out.
I've always been interested in twitter because it's quick and punctual. It would also rule out the complications and extra features we don't need in a "full" social network.

Honestly guys, if you guys are more comfortable with GooglePlus, I don't mind creating an account there. I really don't mind... So, you guys vote or something. I'll do anything as long as we manage to communicate with each other.

I think it'd be easier for me personally, don't know about you guys. The twitter thing's weird, and I can't find you Xev.
I was wondering why the Android SDK's were taking so long to DL. Turns out I'm downloading every Build and revision ever made, haha.

8Xev_10177 suggested that my thread on developers leaving should be used as a resource for all the people wanting to try and pickup developing for the Infuse in sight of almost all of our beloved devs leaving. To make things simpler and to have a thread specifically dedicated to such a thing I have made this one.

I made tutorials. I tested stuff before anyone else like cwm through rom manager. And pushing 3e recovery. But never found time to do more. Then gtg got involved and we helped pay for somewhere around half his phone. He was gratuitous enough to sell his inspire to make up the difference and things took off. I moved to the sidelines answering questions and ranting over stupid thing as I tend to do.
As some have seen I've been trying to get involved recently but I keep hitting problems. Lack time and the guys like gtg who I have great respect for don't always offer complete information. There are pieces missing from all the tutorials I can find. But so far I have been able to decompile an compile working system apps deodex a rom with only one broken app and test a lot of things.
I think good thing are still coming. Maybe we wont see some of the extremes but a fee of us will learn a lot. I haven't seen Adam outler post lately but if he still has his infuse we could see wild stuff like meego or Linux dual booting ( in theory he needs a free extra phone to test some crazy hardware related stuff to do this). Maybe we could aproach him about starting a team.
Also Linux bozo made a comment about being someone who doesn't like change. He's the most bad ass Guy Here porting cm7 on his own. Development here isn't dead. It is just taking a new path.1
