Hi NickDunn,
thanks for your reply. I've attached screenshots. It is the first drop.
Does this make things clear?
Kind regards
This can be a rogue app going berserk and/or using data too much.
I would disable Data and Wifi to avoid those kind of issues.
You have the option in Interface->system->notification drawer->widget buttons to display quick shortcuts to disable/enable Data and more.
I lost 60% battery in one night (battery completely empty this morning while screen was off).
Does this has to do with the kernel or with Cyanogenmod (build15).
I flashed the kernel and did no wipes or what so ever. I didn't change any setting.
Are there tips to improve battery life?
I am at CM9 beta13. With stock kernel and light use (only 2G) I had battery life more than 2,5 days. Now with Semaphore and only one charge I was at 1,5 days (I am sure that this will be more after a few charging cycles).
To your question now, today my battery dropped from 97% to 86% in 45 minutes only, which is huge consumption for me. Some app was keeping my phone on. I did a restart and for the last 4 hours my battery dropped only 2%. I suggest that when you see strange battery drainage to check the apps in the background and do a restart also

I don't think that's the problem. I'm on wifi, and all auto update (like facebook) are set to manual update. So it shouldn't use data unless I'm telling it to do so.
Do you think it is rom related or kernel related. If it's kernel related, is there a way to go back to cm9 'stock' kernel?
Thank you very much.
You're on wifi and you disabled data?
Some guys in CM9 thread reported huge wifi consumption, facebook app had still some issues with ICS...
So.. well... could be apps, could be kernel, could be CM9 (that's still alpha).
That's why I would just disable wifi and any data, and that's what I do on my phone: I just turn on wifi when I need it, my battery is as good as on GB.
i can see the 48% item, it drains a lot. what is it?

add: to Stratosk, sorry, i think we off topic aldy.
About the battery drain: I would appreciate if someone could test CM9 build 15 'stock' kernel.
I will also try to find out if this is Semaphore kernel related.

And I have no more desire to build new versions. At least for now.
