Did you test with stock kernel?

Ffs pcmag might have made me reset to stock for no reason after finding these results!

F**k pcmag they should stick to PC's if they are even capable of testing them. Their results are wrong. After testing stock kernel got 2.0 and 14 fps respectively. So great news @DutchDanny is on target in all aspects of the kernel. Not that I ever doubted him ;)

You even get higher scores if you set the file to 600 Mhz. Something goes wrong when it is set to 667 or higher. But yes, Danny is doing great considering the short time that his owns the tab.:good:

Pluggable USB RJ45/network adapter. Samsung disabled these so we would be forced to buy their adapters...

No Ethernet-over-USB is compiled in the kernel 3.4.39. It's not true to write that Samsung as disable something to force people to buy their adapters.
I don't think Samsung has developed its own Ethernet-over-USB chipset. In the source, there is no driver for Samsung Ethernet-over-USB waiting to be compiled. The ethernet device marked "Samsung" seen in CES 2014 must be running already existing chipset(s). One more probable reason of missing ethernet driver is that Ethernet is not fully supported in the Android code. That's why some applications say : "no network found" when we have installed custom kernel supporting Ethernet-over-USB chipset. Disabling all low level ethernet support in the kernel reduces complains of users not used to kernel/ROM hack.

They most probably haven't done it on purpose to save complaints of incompatibility. However they have took advantage of this by bringing out there over price compatible hardware. To make more money I think this is fair to say

Which compatible hardware? Today, in the stock kernel, there is no support for any ethernet usb dongle. Therefore, how Samsung could make more money selling unsupported devices for SM-P60x?

I must write I am not working for Samsung. I was very upset when I plugged in my ethernet USB dongle and seeing it was not supported (no device in netcfg) as I expected knowing (Samsung) Nexus 7 & 10 supported it in kernel level.

Did you change the wifi scan frequency to stop it scanning so much. If not what value would you recommend?

Are there plans to implement color control for this kernel? specifically disable master sequence? I hate Samsung's color profiles....none of them look natural :(

So -dan- any chance that we can have the full frequency table available for apps like faux clock to read? I run some pretty intensive stuff (android testing, customized code) so the horsepower of this tablet barely scratches the surface of things that I want to do.

Any more horsepower that I can squeeze either through oc or hmp would be welcome...

V2 is online.

Started with a fresh source to start some new mods, and see the result here: V2.0.0

There are NO OC values in this kernel for CPU or GPU.

For me, optimizing the kernel in other ways is more importent. And will result in better use, and save the kernel

You have a boosted kernel, with corrected colour scaling now.... Have Fun

I'm not here to be consumerfriendly, this is development....
If you have NO CLUE on what i'm writing, use search, but don't ask HERE
If search didn't help, you might better off be on STOCK kernel

    HOWTO FLASH
    1. Download the zipfiles from roms.bindroid.com (Click banner below)
    2. Move those to your Device

    Kernel for Wifi & 3G Users ! ! !
    1. Flash BinDroid-Kernel-SM-P600-P601-XXX.zip
    2. Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
    3. Reboot

    If WiFi doesn't work
    1. Edit your build.prop located in: /system
    2. Find the line that says: ro.securestorage.support=true
    3. Edit it to: ro.securestorage.support=false
You might have to move your build.prop out of the system, then edit, and place back in /system
There are apps to edit your build.prop as well

If you want to go back
Recover with modded boot.img or stock boot.img

I started my kernel build again.

This will now be tested by me before going live

I will make a test "dir" for those who want to test test-builds
But no reports on xda about test builds

If you want to report on those builds, PM me your google account mail, so I can add you to a hangout.

Fot now we are back to a stock build
