Flash bm instead of twrp, then flash cm and then bm again

So, I did the ezSBF method that sd_shadow advised.

  • I got to stock .621, rooted, installed D3 bootstrap, booted into recovery.
  • Then I flashed BM.
  • Attempted to flash CM11 from your thread. cm-11-20140817-UNOFFICIAL-shadow from m.ksy.
  • It said "e:error in /sdcard/download/cm-11-20140817-UNOFFICIAL-shadow.zip (status 0) Installation aborted.

ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.1.0
tried cm-11-20140301-UNOFFICIAL-shadow, and cm-11-20140227-UNOFFICIAL-shadow

Same here.

For anyone else who may want to attempt this.

This is what I did once I got bootstrap installed.

  • Put the files on your phone. Bootmenu, the ROM, and gapps.
  • Bootstrap into recovery.
  • Install bootmenu zip.
  • Do a regular reboot.
  • Press the volume down button when the LED lights up blue.
  • Now you're in Bootmenu 2.0. Select custom recovery option.
  • Now you're in TWRP 6.0.1.0
  • Now flash the ROM. Unfortunately, this is where the process breaks.

So is the D2 pretty much dead by now? Just got my hands on one and would like to use it as a spare phone. KitKat would be great, now I just have ics with Koush's BootStrap CWM
