one of the best stock-based roms i have ever ran on my wife's cha cha super-fast, uber-sweet!
had to remove astro as i don't like it that much but apart from that - BRAVO! Excellent work! And please do include AROMA in the next release

Just to add Opera mini also works with 3G. Using it as replacement for default browser. It looks like tinfoil doesn't work, probable because it use default browser.

I used today google maps and it seems gps location doesn't work. I will test it tomorrow, because today we had bad weather.

May I suggest a different music player? Navigation in the current stock one is horrible. If you want to get to artists with the first letter y or z, for example, you have to scroll alllllll the way down. Also, I would love the function that some music players have of a "recently added" playlist. Older android versions of the music player had this.

Is there any way I can add Chinese into this ROM? So that apps like Music can read chinese? Thanks.

THIS ROM WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED

I have now sold my ChaCha and will no longer be developing this ROM further.

However I may put something together for the HTC Sensation or Nexus 4 or Nexus 7.

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded my ROM and supported me. I am glad to have created something so popular. Feel free to continue using it in the future, it won't stay behind since HTC doesn't upgrade the ChaCha anyway, but it won't get new features anymore.

DONATE TO ME
Hey everybody,

I just installed this rom for my sister's HTC Status on Telus. For those of a you having difficulties with the Link2SD, this is what I did.

After installing the rom I removed the sd card, download Mini Tool Partition Wizard Home edition. I deleted the partitions on the SD card, then created a new Fat32 one that was the size of my SD card minus 1gb. Make sure you change where it says Logical and make it Primary. Then I created another partition on the empty space, size was 1gb and it was in the ext2 format. Once again, make this Primary, not logical.

Then I stuck it in the phone, downloaded the Link2SD app, picked my partition as ext2, and it asked me something about doing a quick restart or a link to the mount. I did the mount link, restarted the phone again, and blamo. All is well.

Even though it's not supported anymore, thanks again for this little rom, it helped clean up a lot of stuff and make my sister's phone usable
