Restoring to stock on optus htc one
I bought a htc one a few months back and have since noticed the infamous popping speaker and also having only used the camera once, the bluey-pink pictures at night. I'm hoping to return it to optus so they can send it off for repair (or get a new device
) but I wasn't sure how to restore it to stock.
I have s-off on hboot 1.44 with a stock CID.
All i've done with the device is flash different ROMS (cm, paranoid android and now google edition) and I haven't changed the bootloader.
I can't find a RUU for optus anywhere online either
The bootloader says *** LOCKED *** without any tampered flags because I used revone to remove them.
If I ran revone again and chose to lock the bootloader and restore s-on would that brick my device?
Also, if I did return the device, what are the odds of getting a brand new one because i've heard that it's nigh impossible to repair the phone and they are likely to send a new one back instead.
