Hello everyone,

MIUI_Au has been Ported to Desire Z/ G2 by me and lenny_kano . Please remember that the rom is still a work in progress and the bugs you may experience are coming from the base.

I am very confused why someone would release a duplicate port of proxuser's rom. Isn't it just two roms that do the same that cannot really differ?

We are using few different libraries and I tried to bring as much smoothness as possible, but above all, you have to try and see for yourself.

does it address the number recognition issue in MIUI ?
e-g a contact is saved as 0xxx-xxxxxxx
but when the sms arrives, the sender number appears as +92-xxx-xxxxxxx .

Although these are the same numbers , saved is without country code, but it will be shown as unknown number and not be resolved to actual saved contact.

It's still there, but if you save both numbers i.e. 0xxxxxxxxx and +92-xxxxxxxxxx under same name, then you won't face this problem as a temporary solution until this is fixed.

Thought id try this over cj's version, first off i did notice its alittle smoother, not by much and not much difference in terms of speed etc (default, no overclocking) on the plus side i did notice some apps didnt FC on this version

a few things i did notice..

selecting a group under the groups tab in contacts force closes contacts

terminal emulator force closes, i dont use it but thought id mention it

havent seen any graphical glitches so far, did notice there were messaging glitches in cj's version so hoping i dont encounter any

Contacts didn't force close for me while selecting a group under groups tab, It might be because you aren't coming from a full wipe.
Reflashing it might solve this problem.

One improvement is that Aroma installer with this rom allows you full customization, it doesn't breaks the installation.

Terminal emulator force closing and force closing of ES File Explorer v1.6.1.1 is a known bug to me and am working on it. However ES File explorer v1.6.1.0 works fine.

Latest Astro works fine here, but sometimes force close when you install a new theme, maybe it's a MIUI bug.

For super charger script to run on ICS roms, you need to modify android.policy.jar, instructions are given on supercharger thread.

In next release, I'll try to incorporate the necessary modifications right out of the box.

I thought the edit was only required to keep launcher in memory. The minfrees are not being set so I was I just asuuming it was just that the boot script isn't executing.

In the next update, i'll fix this. Thanks for bringing this up. Can somebody confirm if supercharger script works with cjward's version.
