Hello:
Thank you very much providing such a useful, or I should say, essential mod. I am always excited to play with new version of this mod.
I installed the latest version, 1.8, but after a restart, the home tab looks messed up. I cannot tap on any of the components of the display, like the clock, notifications, etc. The location of these components has also been altered. It seems installing 1.8 over 1.7 (cooked in the ROM) has gone really wrong for me. In addition I am not able to access the home tab options, such as the menu and action button. When I am on the home tab, I see the menu from the previous tab I was on. Is there any way I can correct this without reflashing the ROM? Thank you.
Sounds like a conflict with the cooked in version to me. It shouldn’t really happen, but result aren't really that predictable when it's already cooked in.
Maybe try a reinstall, but if that doesn't work you going to have to upgrade to a new ROM with 1.8 cooked in.
Thanks..
can you maybe point me to the location where the wallpaper was picked up from previously?
Is the wallpaper actually converted when you select is as wallpaper in standard manila 2.5?
Maybe I can just point cokkie's reg entry for wallpaper to that wallpaper file..
The default sense wallpaper is in the same reg key just called "HomeBackground". I think that the wallpaper changers just manipulate that reg value. Sense would have done the rest once it detected that the reg value changed.
You should have a "CHT_LockDevice.lnk" in \windows\startup. If you don't create it. The shortcut should point to \windows\lockdevice.exe (NOT lockdeviceGUI.exe).
