Re: [ROM][GT-N7105 / t0lte][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

Everything went fine for me.... :D

In my opinion there some things missing like Video Player and Multi-Window :good:

Is yours a N7105? Also care to share how you went about installing the rom?

Thank you.

Yes mine is N705 LTE...

To install the rom i made what is in the main post:

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your Galaxy Note 2 LTE (GSM), or coming from another ROM:
- Read known issues ans FAQs
- Flash the latest official ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

What worked for me was to install rom manager from play store and then reinstall the cwm through there. Worked like a charm for me

AW: [ROM][GT-N7105 / t0lte][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

First so much thanks,

I like to help the CyanogenMod Development, I have a powerful Macbook (SSD-8GB Ram - Fedora as OS)
and have little experience with Java and etc. I have also sometimes enough free time .

So I need just a Tutorial/Master/Teacher ? Could you help me ?

Me too just getting H+ where do you suggest I look for network mode...

One more think i can't seem to find developers option to enable USB debugging and Hardware acceleration on/off option :)

Awesome ROM by the way

I am now waiting for Paranoid to come to LTE :)

Other thing I noticed is the text scrolling is extremely slow. That is why I was looking for the option to enable 3D acceleration under developers options ;)

Just an update guys! After using phil's recovery ( official t0lte cwm will not boot! ) I was able to get past the flash abort and install cm. The flickering was still present on the splash screen followed by a blank screen but after a bit it did boot. Just setting up now and will give feedback after a bit of use.
Thanks codeworx, I love cm and have had it on my last 3 devices all of which you have looked after with little thanks or reward. Legend!

Go into the about screen and keep pressing on the build number.. It'll say your 6 steps 5 steps from being a developer etc

They moved the settings in 4.2

How to Enable USB Debugging and Developer Options on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean:

Go to – Settings > About phone.
Then move on to Build number option
Tap on Build number repeatedly about 7 times.
This is enough.
After touching 7 times you will see a message that, “you are now a developer”.

Now the option will be placed in Settings menu. Normally it placed under System in Settings menu. Then you can enable it in Developer Options and Android Debugging.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Not sure where you're getting your info from but that reason I have to use another Kernal is because the stock DOESN"T WORK.

If you need me to help you diagnose this problem let me know but for the moment its broken for me.

the latest nightly comes with a kernel which is using mali r3p1 driver and the system comes with mali r3p1 libraries.
if those don't match you get a black screen.

nearly all custom kernels are not updated yet and use r3p0 which means missmatch -> black screen.

Yep, we did it again! Our opensource audio HAL seems to work almost fine.
Incall earpiece, speaker, mic and bluetooth are working. A2dp works also.
Since Google Now works properly i assume the Camcorder will be fine, too.
    Headset is working aswell.

    Download: cm-10.1-20130125-UNOFFICIAL-t0lte.zip
    Please test it.

    Known bugs:
    - mic mute broken during calls

i m sorry but i dont know how can i tar it and i dont know what tar is...

sorry and thank you for your help..

don't get me wrong, but if you're that inexperienced then you shouldn't flash custom roms to your phone.
