I'm referring to the unlocked version from HTC. There is a dev version and an unlocked version. I'm already s-off.Unlocked what bootloader yes but you have to have s-off to do this and make sure your version is in the OP since I'm not sure what phone variant your using.

Yeah, I see the developer edition in the OP. I don't have the developer edition. I have the unlocked edition. They're 2 different versions.

fastboot getvar all
Everything for the htc unlocked version matches the dev edition. The cid, mid, and os numbers are all the same.Sprint added to the OP!
Verizon is done, awaiting afor it still...Code:fastboot getvar all
If there are differences between the HTC version and Dev edition, post the hboot for me, I can do both and diff them to see if there is any difference.
Either way, I would need someone with the device to provide the hboot and getvar all, as I do not have the devices myself.
Just read the first two pages and you will see how to provide me what is needed.

Sorry, I meant to include that. It's 3.16.0.0000Then all I need for that one is the hboot, if it's wanted.
I'm sure that they could use the same one, but I am happy to do both if there's a desire for it.
But I would still need the hboot then.
oops! LOL! I've tried to pull the image, but I keep getting an error "cannot open for read: no such file or directory". I'm obviously doing something wrong.I need the actual physical hboot.img(the file)
See how to pull it here

I did all of that so I thought, but anyway the one for the developer edition works fine on my HTC unlocked version. Thanks for your help! You need to make sure you have usb debugging enabled and have connected to the pc at least once while booted in android and allowed it to connect at the popup prompt on your device.
Then go to fastboot and try again.
If not, maybe someone else can provide that one...

Hmm. I find it weird that even when I do CD from the platform-tools folder, I cannot flash the HBOOT.
I keep getting the "cannot load hboot.zip" file. (I renamed to HBOOT.ZIP)
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
Is there away of getting this working w/o a PC? Don't got a PC ATM and I hate the red text...
Sorry for the link been at work all day, try this one. The boot.img and recovery.img has been removed but still has red text.

Always appreciated Captain......is there a bootloader editing softwhere somewhere that can help us take care of the TAMPERED and S-OFF labels? NVM you just answered my question below.
I didn't mean TAMPERED I meant UNLOCKED and feaux S-ON. Although the new HBoot says *** Software status: Modified *** which I doubt we can even touch. I've pulled the hboot.img file from your removed red text zip and I will test it with the bootloader customizer and try to create a plugin.
Just checking in if anybody has the no red text hboot for T-Mobile US 4.20.531.4 I can upload the firmware or hboot if anyone needs it to make it.
