Interesting. I was almost going to add that because this is a stock based ROM it shouldn't have bugs of that nature. But I can't comment much more on this as I haven't installed this ROM yet. I'm in between moving to a new house and without WiFi and have almost maxed my data downloading ROMs lol. But this looks interesting and I'll be flashing it soon. Possibly after the dev has done some more debloating.

2 is a known bug with safestrap if using a rom slot for the rom.. it happens with any rom..

yes. just make sure you have a backup saved to external sd card before flashing.. it should go smooth without a hitch but always good to b on the safe side.

Ill add this issue to op as a known bug with my rom.. it appears a few battery pulls fixes it so not sure wat it is but ill look into it

download booster? i might.. im actually working on another version now.. ill see about adding that to it! this one is going to have the android l features with odex and working priv mode but extremeley debloated meaning only bare essentials to function

The rom will not let me change the default SMS app. I am trying to restore my messages through SMS backup and restore, but when I try to change the default sms app, nothing happens. I went into Settings>Applications>Default Applications and it still wont let me change the default sms app. Any tips? or am I the only one experiencing this?

I opened 8sms and it gives you option to set as default n takes you to settings.. maybe if you use sms backup n restore in regular sms app then afterwards open 8 sms n change it.. i think sms backup and restore only works with stock messaging app for me

I am building/testing a new build now... So far it's extremely debloated (tota size is under 700mb!) Not sure what was with the location settings, but on the new build it definately sticks the first time.. I also made 8sms the only sms application on the rom and MMS/SMS works perfectly fine.. I am also leaving the fingerprint scanner in for now (I like to use it) but pretty much everything is going to be gone from the rom! I will be uploading a DeOdexed and an Odex version.. (Mine still isn't close to XtraLite in the unified thread, his is ~555mb.. Not sure how the hell he did it haha!)
which one you want first? deodex is about 650mb n odex is just under 700mb.. everything works pretty much! im ready to start uploading now

To be honest with you although I grasp most of this I STILL don't quite understand the difference between the two .. I don't do any kind of theming and I am just looking for the best battery life and performance.
For best performance odex from what I know but then there is the art feature an that gives performance...
Well let me ask you another noob question ... I am new to SafeStrap always had a phone where the bootloader was unlocked I had been readying you should never touch the stock ROM, but it looks like you all have been installing to the stock ROM. It was my understanding that if you wiped the stock ROM it would get rid of everything, including safestrap, so you would no longer be able to boot. I guess this is not true? Once I load the ROM on my SD care should I just factory reset my stock rom via SS then I can install the zip to it? Or should I always work with a rom slot?

Here is the Android L Bootanimation with the ROM:
Some applications such as Play Movies, Play Music, and My Files have not been removed yet so you can debloat it even more. SHealth among other features were left in ROM due to seeing people request for things to be left on.
Instructions:
I am NOT responsible for your device and if you do not flash properly or something goes wrong. This ROM has been tested on my own Retail S5 and has flashed just fine with no issues.
1: Download ROM and put on External SD card (or internal if it works for you)
2: Also Download SuperSU from HERE and put in same place you have the ROM zip
3: Reboot into SafeStrap Recovery and select ROM slot you want to install it on (Most likely on ROM slot 1)
4: Once in desired ROM slot, go to Wipe, and swipe to wipe (default wipe settings in SS should be good enough)
5: Go to main SS screen and press Install (Then navigate to the ROM zip and flash it, then flash SuperSU zip immediately after)
6: On first boot, you might get a Setup Wizard FC (Just press OK and don't worry about it as it will only appear once)

2Bugs:
1: Turning location on automatically goes to off when you accept.
Fix:
After a few battery pulls it will allow you to turn it on. (I am searching as to why this happens. It might be something I removed)
