So I just got my hands on an HTC Sensation 4G. It's a T-Mobile version (can this phone be flashed to Verizon?), but I assume it has the same LCD connector inside. I'm considering harvesting the LCD connector, but I can't make up my mind what exactly I want to do with the phone. It's MEID number is no longer valid, so it's basically a parts phone, but it works perfectly.

I really really really want to learn more about ADB and android development, so for the past hour I've been "trying" to learn how to use SDK. I can't hurt anything, even if I brick the phone I really don't care.

Would you guys try to find someone that can switch the connector and get my rezound back up and running or how would you hack and crack this phone for something fun?

Nevermind on the Verizon question, I found another thread that explains why it can't be flashed to Verizon.

I'll be honest, I don't think that will work. Congrats on the Sensation though, I'm jelly. I wish I still had mine lol

I understand that fixing the Rezound with parts from this phone probably isn't going to happen. So considering it's no longer a functional phone, what would you guys do with it?

I plan on learning to flash custom roms with it and then let the kids play angry birds and other games with it.

Other thoughts?

Wlmeng, you're the n00b. I was talking about replacing the LCD connector from the sensation in the Rezound. Oh course he can't use the sensation on Verizon, he even said nevermind he found out why it won't work

You sir, have failed
