Default [Q] New battery will not charge.

Got a new, supposedly OEM 1500 mAh battery as a replacement/spare.
Whem connected nothing is happenning, neither from wall charger, nor from computer's USB port. Putting the old battery in resolves the issue.
Biggest concern in this is that it is second attempt, first battery, purchased from a different vendor, was acting in exactly same manner.
Any advise?

Thank you in advance for any advise.

Sounds like it could possibly be a fake if nothing happens

Have you tries it in a external charger?

I agree. Photos? It shouldn't be too hard to spot a fake.

I'm having similar troubles. Bought the battery off eBay and it doesn't look particularly legit. If the batteries not OEM, will it simply not charge? Is there any way around this? Is it grounds to get a refund from the seller?
