Only by paying and providing IMEI or there is a way....?

Depends on your provider and country I guess. For Vodafone Germany I once did it on their website. After 2 years it also should be for free, cause you then "fully paid" the phone. So maybe try to find their website / service, go to one of their shops or call the service center.
