That's some great, tangible progress, Andeeroid!
You might want to send a tip to Engadget about it, as it could be good proof for their earlier, somewhat ill-received piece on the supposed flagship device for Q1. (Not gonna do it myself, don't want to accidentally get credit, like dajmeister.)

digging around in the pngs i found some interesting things...

Samsung seems to be including a Samsung Apps Market along with a picture editing suite included.

All the UI changes look nice with the menus and radios looking slightly like the droid line motoblur but much more polished. The included apps such as FM radio and the music look much more polished similar to apple apps with the faux realism.

Task bar is transparent with pure white icons like the picture above.

TV out - [so probably HDMI like the poster above mentioned]

The included file browser will support drag and drop gestures and office files

Some sort of server support? Lots of server icons and filing cabinet type sets so this is an assumption

and some sort of built in theming!

All in all it is def gingerbread. and looks like samsung is polishing their custom framework more to a "sense" level of polish

I just hope they dont "polish" too much, or it will get to a point they will cut themselves...

modprobe nandsim first_id_byte=0xec second_id_byte=0xd3 third_id_byte=0x51 fourth_id_byte=0x95

>> 1024 MB

You cannot mount it as ubifs. We've tried it all.

I have the same problem with an image of Touchletx2.

You can typically give nandsim a parameter "bus_width = 8 or bus_width = 16 ".

When use "bus_width=8" the the modul nandsim load. But if I hand over bus_width =16 get the error message "Invalid argument "

I think nandsim goes from one of 8-bit NAND, image, however, presupposes a 16-bit NAND.

I can another UBI image for 8-bit NAND mounting.

Code:
modprobe nandsim first_id_byte=0x20 second_id_byte=0xac third_id_byte=0x51 fourth_id_byte=0x35 bus_width=16
FATAL: Error inserting nandsim (/lib/modules/2.6.35-24-generic/kernel/drivers/mtd/nand/nandsim.ko): Invalid argument
and:

Code:
gertm# modprobe nandsim first_id_byte=0x20 second_id_byte=0xac third_id_byte=0x51 fourth_id_byte=0x35 bus_width=8
gertm#

I thought Galaxy GT-I9200 was supposed to be called Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9200......... According to some info that i found out it's supposed to be a dual core 2Ghz phone with an OS that merged both Gingerbread and Honeycomb for its internal architecture. Would this shed any light on this mysterious OS?

To get past error 22, you have to do a ubiformat -s 512.

It got me all the way to mount and then my ubuntu 10.04 live cd could not do ubifs. Will have to try again at home.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
ubiformat - formats empty flash, erases flash and preserves erase counters, flashes UBI images to MTD devices

Seems like you are erasing the whole image.
