This is NEXUS 7 Team Shogun's MIUI Build with lots of features.

With this ROM we aimed to keep stability and performance in mind, while delivering the most customizable experience android can offer.

ISSUES THAT STILL EXIST

You tell us

NOTE ON MIUI SECURITY (ROOT ACCESS)

MIUI uses it's own proprietary application for root management. The SU binary is included however the superuser-type app is built in and it is disabled by default. You can turn it on by opening the app called Permission Manager (or LBE Guard) => Manage Root Permission touch the little button in the top right corner and say Yes to the message about root access.

Boot into your prefered recovery

Wipe Cache Dalvik Cache and Factory Reset

Flash the ROM

Set permissions to be extra safe (optional)

The first boot may take a few moments, Please be patient and don't think that you are bricked

This is running OK. Just doesn't feel as smooth yet. But seems good for what it is now. Look forward to the continuing work.

Edit: seems to be a bit of a memory hog. Fresh install and I only have a but over 400mb free. Usually average about 600mb-650mb on cm10 variants.

This isn't CM10. MIUI tends to be a graphic hog. Give it a little bit. Reboot it once or twice. It's fast here but I didn't have any apps installed during my testing.

Yea I know it isn't cm10. Just a comparison. I think its just a very early build. I'm sure it will get more lean and quick and time goes on.

You do know why you get that black screen on bootup right?

Because many incorrect scripts are trying to run and causing many problems, half of them are not even working or wrongly implemented, it seems like you just found some init.d files and just added them to the rom without realizing you need to do more work in order to get them all working correctly. Im not trying to hate just giving you a tip.
