If you want to change Boot Logo (also known as bootsplash, comes before bootanimation)you can use this app if it is supported on your device.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.dxd2.logo.replacer
It is a paid app and costs about Rs.57 (on 10/01/2014).

If you want to do it manually,
I don't know about partitions in Micromax phones, but in my Samsung Galaxy y it is in
Code:
/mnt/.lfs/logo.jpg

There is other method where you can change bootsplash from stock firmware and flash by Odin.(sorry not applicable for Micromax)

Sent from my GT-S5360 Gadget of Mass Destruction using xda-app
Using CWM........Busybox Commands........No I use my hands :D

The app is not supported for the device lemme try the manual method and see if it works!
Thanks for your reply :good:

Can't find the path :( Help!

Actually it is for Samsung. Maybe it is different in Micromax.
Try going to path by Root Explorer.
If not there, try to check every location in /mnt.
If not found try to check every possible location in root home.
I don't own Micromax device, so I know nothing of folder structure.
But it is not very hard to check all.
Another advice is get some file explorer for root with search and list all jpg files.

Man I'm not able to find  Can I give you a link of my system folders and you search for me please!

I checked a bit and found out that micromax entirely uses different file system for Booting Animations. (Also most MediaTek devices).

It is like this:-
There are 3 files. 1st and 2nd is for Boot Logo and 3rd is for Bootanimation.
Go here

This contains guide for Micromax A110, but I think both phones might have same structure.

BACKUP BEFORE YOU MESS WITH ANYTHING ON YOUR PHONE
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FLASHING SOFTWARE, IN CASE

In the end if you cannot create a flashable zip, then put the files by Root Explorer and give correct permissions.

Press Thanks if helped.
