I was a Perseus fanboy until I stumbled upon Saber. I must say that I have converted. Scrolling is noticeably smoother and battery life is still amazing. I've been missing out this whole time!

Hmm for some reason my battery life is a lot worst after flashing this kernel. Any ideas?

Not sure if anyone would know but on the peresus kernel someone developed a 5g zip for voltages and such....does anyone know if that will work with this kernel? Thanks...

I changed all voltages and I'm good now. How in the world is this kernel so smooth compared to the rest. It is insane really.

Would you mind showing me a screen shot of your adjustments on voltage?

Loving this kernel, first time flasher. feels much smoother than the stock kernel. Also running the latest release here paired with CleanRom's latest release... using Voltage Control Extreme to pump this bad boy up to 1.8Ghz with a nice OC/UV profile I made up. Should prove pretty stable and hopefully give me better performance and battery than the stock setup.

Thanks again, I'll post back my findings.

I seem to be having this issue..

Try using Voltage Control instead of setcpu

Thinking about trying Saber coming from Persus. Anyone know if simply flashing Saber will remove all traces of Persus? I don't think there is a wipe kernel option in any recovery.

Guys guys guys... don't touch the voltages!!!! Lol everyone seems to think that under volting saves battery when in fact it stresses your system due to the lack of energy to carry out tasks making it work harder to do so, in turn causing the process to take a toll on performace! The voltages are set to be optimal in terms of being conservative while maintaining adequate power to not starve the processor when attempting to run at certain frequencies. Moral of the story... let the kernel do its thing lol

Lol.

Much like an underpowered car struggling to chug along burning extra gas just to move from point A to B :D
