I'm really liking the new 5 screen launcher. In fact, I have stopped using DXTop.
This rom really is the fastest and certainly the most stable non-original rom. Keep up the great work Bart.

Hi Amon_RA, I think it will be good if you can include the modified Phone.apk in your next release:

Also, according to the thread, Cyanogen will be adding a settings panel to it, so once that's done people will be able to choose if they want a vibrate, etc. to it ^^.

Hmm.. I really like this rom, but keep finding things missing in the ION base.
Just noticed that my network connection kept disappearing and that this rom doesn't have the option 'Always On Mobile Data' like the HTC Magic/Hero roms do.
It's also worth noting that Exchange support is limited to email only - there's no support for syncing contacts or calendars with the package included in this rom (need to grab the one out of daldroid's rom perhaps)

Suggestion: A better camera app would be good.
Certainly not a showstopper though.. I use a camera to take proper pictures, not a phone.

hero theme is done- ported straight from nk02 ion. i added green notification text and themed keyboard plus few other things. screenshots later.
works fine on mine without a wipe.

can you please add the HTC HERO Album app as i find it much better than the gallery, also we can flip through images rather than press the arrow...
the exchange activesync (work email) works perfect however it does not have the option to sync calender...can you fix that please?
lastly, anyway to get back the original HTC Magic dialer back? i find it much better than the one in this version..

No this doesn't work as it requires the HTC framework (which is not included in this ROM)

cytown has released a modified Phone.apk that will vibrate the phone when someone has answered your call. I've loaded it and it's working well so far. The link:

ezterry's ram hack takes from camera, so for the camera to work, you will need to use the 1m pixel setting.going to try this with a 2708 kernel and report. anybody else tried the extra RAM radio/spl with this rom?

So far everything works fine but the camera - can't get it to save. I'm also missing quite a few apps that unbeknown to me where 2.x only - zeam launcher and ray dialer mainly.
edit 2] bluetooth's a bit wonky. will not switch off immediately if at all.
