On Tmobiles website it shows the HD2 coming soon. When you click on the phone you will see the price in gray at the bottom. Has anyone heard different?

ya its true. MSRP is $449.99 and on a 2 year contract its $200. ive seen the price tags already.

$449 no contract, $199 with contract . . . grab yours on the 24th.

This thing is pretty stout, and I have been impressed with it so far.

Sigh. Glad you have it so much later than us... at least that's some kind of psychological compensation for having to shell out $850 for it without contract / $650 with 1-year contract...

but they say i need to get a plan with $450 htc hd2...
do i really have to buy the plan or i can get it for 450USD plus taxes?

If you buy it in a physical store they are not requiring a plan, but online they are requiring you to purchase a plan with the phone.

Dunno if they plan to change that...

with taxes should be around 480 (I guess it depends on state, in IL it comes to about 480)
but also make sure that you can set the phone with your appropriate carrier
eg my friend got an iphone and it worked in canada with rogers, but then when she went back to india with said iphone, no text barely calls, no net
so make sure you double check to ensure it will work overseas. I am not quite sure if it does or not =;/

i toked to varios REPS of tmobile and they said after unlocking it will work perfectly fine even in india plus other asian countries
i ll get from VA
