Doesn't matter where it came from, where it was made, if your CID is VODAP001 it is a UK Vodafone and 1.36 will work on it.
Any thoughts on what the issue could be?? I am trying to flash hboot 1.36

Hi all,
For everyone who want's to upgrade to ARHD 31.2 from a <30 version this manual:
0.Backup your files and make a fresh start.
1.Check your CID
You can use CID Getter from the Play Store (it's in red on top when you run the app).
2.If your CID is one of these, you can update your HBoot to 1.72.0000:
HTC__001, HTC__016, HTC__032, HTC__102, HTC__203, HTC__304, HTC__405
HTC__A07, HTC__E11, HTC__M27, HTC__Y13
If not, you have to stay on/get to a 1.3x HBoot version and go to step 4.
3.Update your HBoot version the following way:
MAKE SURE YOU INSTALLED THE LATEST DRIVER SOFTWARE ON YOUR PC
from here: http://www.htc.com/www/support/software/htc-sync-manager.aspx
And install it.
-Download HBoot 1.72 from here http://d-h.st/OAL and save it in your fastboot.exe map (http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390233485161005739).
- Reboot your phone into bootloader (turn device off and after that hold power+volume down), fastboot mode and connect it to your pc.
- Open CMD in fastboot.exe map.
- Relock the bootloader by typing "fastboot oem lock" in CMD window.
- Then type "fastboot oem rebootRUU" in CMD window.
- Next, type "fastboot flash zip firmware.zip" and wait for the progress bar to hav reached 100%
- Type "fastboot reboot-bootloader" to reboot into bootloader and select Fastboot.
- Unlock your device again with yout unlocktoken "Unlock_code.bin" by typing "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" in your fastboot map.
4.Flash latest recovery from
TWRP http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1622925
CWM 5.8.4.0 http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img
or CWM Philz http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2201860
or another recovery you like (if there are others...).
Download and save the Recovery file into the fastboot map.
Type in "fastboot flash recovery <name_of_recovery_image>.img" into your CMD window.
5.Download boot.img and ROM from here: http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.nl/p/android-revolution-hd-mirror-site-var.html
6.Unpack the boot.img rar file and use the install file that fits your OS.
7.Choose HBOOT in your bootloader and choose RECOVERY
8.Put the downloaded ROM on your SD card, install the ROM with the options you like and reboot.
9.Make the Sense 5 Toolbox work:
Reboot phone and run Xposed Installer (from app drawer), hit 'Framework' and hit 'Install/Update'.
Go back, hit 'Modules' and make sure the Sense 5 Toolbox is selected.
Reboot your phone.
ENJOY!
Thanks all for making this possible.
Especially @Mike1986 and @langer hans, but also many others.

Update 24th Oct: This is now a complete Fastboot & Firmware toolkit with lots more functionality added including a simplified process for S-Off devices.
I've created a tool to simplify upgrading your HOX to the JB leak and to carry out other fastboot commands. AS ALWAYS YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Unless you have S-Off, you can only upgrade to JB FW if you' have a compatible CID that matches exactly one in the lists below. Lots of other command are available for all devices
Updating the firmware may wipe your phones internal data and SD data (even if previous updates haven't) so I strongly recommend backing up both beforehand (ie Titanium, Nandroid, then backup all SD card data). Note this tool itself is not responsible for loss of data, upgrading the firmware using whatever method carries the same risk.
This tool includes:
- Display your CID
- Lock Bootloader
- Update JB FW, inc HBoot 1.31, 1.33 or 1.36
- Unlock Bootloader
- Flash custom CWM recovery
- Flash boot.img
- Lots, lots more....
With this method there is no requirement to return to stock or install RUU etc
Instructions - for full upgrade process for unlocked bootloaders
Everything's included apart from the following (put these in the right place before running the tool):
- Non HTC__xxx (ie branded/carrier) firmware. If you require one of these then the tool will direct you to the thread to download one.
- Jelly Bean ROM - Download the Jelly Bean ROM of your choice and put on your Phone's virtual SD card (Links to ROM's can be found below)
- boot.img - Place the boot.img for the ROM of your choice in the tool folder. (Must be named "boot.img" so rename if necessary)
- Unlock_code.bin - Place this in the same folder. This is the file you got from HTCdev when you unlocked your bootloader. If you no longer have it then check your email inbox for it or go through the process again at htcdev.com (Not needed if you are S-Off)
Simply download and extract the zip file below then run JBFWFlasher.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you find you have to install CWM mod separately after running the above for whatever reason then restart the tool and select option 2.
Instructions - to install just the FW in preparation for RUU install with a locked bootloader
Everything's included except the RUU
Simply download and extract the zip file below then run JBFWFlasher.bat, select option 1 then follow the on-screen instructions.
When it gets to the step where it will next unlock your bootloader (i.e. after flashing the firmware.zip twice & rebooting to fastboot), simply close the tool (x on top right of window) and install the RUU with your phone in Fastboot mode

SIR after ota update my hox got into boot loop and battery was not charging. i charged the battery with fastboot script and unlocked boot loader and installed clockwork mod recovery.
Phone is still in boot loop
i tried to upgrade my hboot from 1.12 to higher with the help of JBFWtool21 but it get stuck at sending file.
CID 11111111 (original) changed to HTC-621 during the upgrade
version-main 2.17.401.2
hboot-1.12.0000
please help
I'm thinking of flashing the JB RUU - my CID is HTC-001 so should be ok. However, if the update fails, I realise it's not possible to go back to my original H-Boot of 1.12, but will it be possible to reflash my original ICS RUU (2.17.401.2)? What do people generally do to recover if the update fails?
