Data and battery drain

My battery drains like h*ll when I am using a 3G/4G connection, I mean like 1% per minute..I am on existenz 4.3..is there any way to improve the battery drain? I will go on a trip in 2 days and I need a good battery life

Try to reinstall existenz

The drain is normal. The connection of 3G/4G (LTE) uses a lot of juice from the device. I have similair results in Stock Sony. The only thing you can do is use only 2G.. This is enough for whatsapp but not for facebook, xda and many others.
