Default Worked for me!

Deleting the .odex file worked for me on my Galaxy S running AOKP build 35.

Thanks a lot!

you need to delete the com.<titaniumbackup>.odex file from /data/app
(go to /data/app using any file explorer like ES Fileexplorer)
then install titanium backup again...it'll mostly work
Thaks u very much....

I'm also using a rooted HTC sensation and had the same error

I've deleted the file 'com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup-1.odex' within the data and lucky patcher folder

but it did not fix the issue, I reinstalled Lucky Patcher and boom it worked

The thing i don't get is, why can't i install an app of 16mb in size, when i have 60mb left in my phone memory?

Makes no sense to me.

Its the way lucky patcher works. Press menu in lucky patcher and hit troubleshooting, second option from bottom is clear fixes etc, you will see it. No need to delete any folders.
