bricked for sure. I have zero download mode. wont power on, charge or nothing... I just bought it at car toys and the have a 30 exchange policy. I'm going to try and return it for another one.

Some say bricked when they can...you can recover from Kies IF you can get into download mode.

I totally agree, if you can get into download mode (ODIN) you can get kies to do the upgrade

it s carrier unlocked , i had sent it to mobiletechvideos for jtag.

Not having used the service myself ... But I believe I have seen a line some where in these threads that started something to the effect ...

Based on experience, MobileTechVideo did an excellent job, economically, quickly, and to full satisfaction. I'd use them again anytime.

The JTAG device only connects to the mainboard to flash a bootable image and does not affect the network lock.

So what ^^^^ said. If you sent an unlocked phone, thats what is returned to you. If you sent a locked phone, that is what is returned to you.

All data and apps are wiped, loaded with your carrier's stock unrooted ICS 4.04 operating system.
