I read that. Where I get lost is:
Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery by turning your device completely off. Hold volume up, volume down, and power until the green Android with the open chest is displayed. Navigate to "Recovery Mode" with the volume buttons and select using the power button.
Remember to have a recent nandroid before continuing!
So, I remember flashing a custom recovery when I rooted the phone. But I didn't download TWRP onto the phone, and it was just temporary I think (fastboot -c "lge.kcal=0|0|0|x" boot customrecovery.img). So now, when I try and do a custom recovery, my phone boots into the Android guy and the red triangle.
When I flash a custom recovery, does the phone have to be connected to the computer? Should I install TWRP onto the phone? Did I miss a step somewhere? Perhaps I should not have used the temporary custom recovery, but all I plan on doing is flashing that radio to get LTE...
Any guidance on this?
