i made one based on the Fujitsu Arrows brand, the whole thing was done using photoshop it was a PITA specially having to manually animate and make sure the movements match, somebody recommended me adobe after effects but that program is really expensive. anyway the preview is on my youtube channel

Yes they will work on cm10, but not sure as to where to put them. As I have
Not loaded up cm10 in a while.
Just look around in /system it won't be too far away from where it was in sense.

I am going to keep all my bootanimations in one place and will just keep adding to this thread as I find these kinda enjoyable to do.
For stock ICS place them in: /system/customize/resource/overwrite old bootanimation/downanimation
If on Android Revolution ICS, bootanimation is in: /data/local/bootanimation (downanimation is still in resource)
For downanimation to work correctly, you have to set correct permissions. If not you will just get a black screen
Owner: read & write checked, execute unchecked
Group: read checked, rest unchecked
Others: read checked, rest unchecked

nope, sadly no way to change splash screen with s=on.
s=off isnt hard to do as long as you follow all the procedures. (its really not worth getting s=off for a 5 second images though)
