My Arc S is 12W35 and have Unlock bootloader allowed: No

First I tried to do testpoint (with S1TOOL) on my Arc S and I get: NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE.

After I followed this tutorial to convert .img to .ftf and try to flash with flashtool:

http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=39544867&postcount=9

I converted the lastert official LegacyXperia CM11 nightly to .ftf and tried to flash with flashtool.

(If you have an error like C:\Flashtool\devicesyourdevice\loader_unlocked.sin (System can not find the file specified) in flashtool, just grab the file loader_unlocked.sin from R800 folder to your device folder thread link: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2207610 thx to Abhinav2)

It Worked!

Later I was thinking why it worked?
R: I just compared latest R800 ftf's loader.sin with latest LT18i ftf's loader.sin using WinMerge and it said that the files are identical!

So if you flash the R800 loader_unlocked.sin (in Flashtool's device folder you can find it) on you locked bootloader phone it will unlock your bootloader.

PS: Even if you not have fastboot access you can follow the tutorial to convert .img to .ftf and flash it. It will works!

Sorry for my bad english.

I will try,but i must charge my phone.I think the key is that your phone was not sim locked, because if it's not simlocked then you can unlock bootloader.(unlock allowed no was mistake in your case i think, there is no reason why you get NO there)

How did you managed to flash this? Flash with flashtool on flashmode? What you selected at flashtool? Did you reboot the phone and pressed back button the connect USB?

No luck :( Received timeout at S1boot, and flash is the same.

Stupid question, but we cannot flash kernel while in qhusb_dload mode? (holding down testpoint)

I think if you sim unlock your phone and retry it will work.

Sorry, but I don't know what is this mode and I don't think there is another way for flash than flashmode and fastboot.
See if a dev knows the answer and let me know too ;).

EDIT: I think you should get at least this message:
PROCESSING…
REMOVE TESTPOINT NOW, THEN PRESS “READY”
follow this tutorial, that I followed, and see if it works: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1730874

I connected the testpoint like this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5upgfMqNNU

Your phone was factory sim-unlocked or you unlocked it?Can you check your rooting status now?(service menu) As i said i think the key is your phone was sim unlocked and there is no restrictions unlocking bootloader then..

Sim unlock not working in my case, bootloader unlock works only when the phone is factory sim-unlocked.
