Is it normal for the tf not to enter deep sleep when its charging? Thats exactly whats happening to mine. It kind of doesnt matter that much since its charging, and it does deep sleep when not on the juice, but it seems like it should be able to deep sleep whenever the screen is off, regardless of if its charging or not. Im on the stock prime kernel btw.

Seems that different versions of busybox is giving different results.

You already have root and CWM recovery installed?

Oops!
Thanks a lot, yes I think!
Because I have SUPER USER in my app (So my device is rooted!) and when I hold Power button, I can select Recovery Menu and after restart device, I see the option such as install from zip and...

---------------------------------------
*In recovery mode:
ClockworkMod Recovery v3.1.0.1

---------- Post added at 08:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 AM ----------

If you just bought the thing, personally, I would just flash the stable or current ROMs from the first post in this topic. That will essentially "Format" everything. Other wise use recovery to install updates from a MicroSD card.

A read of the first two posts in this thread and perhaps hitting Google or the forum search for 'nvflash' will tell you about how to do that stuff. For just installing from update: save it to MicroSD card, long press power, choose to boot into recovery, and use the volume up/down/power buttons to navigate the menu, select the update ZIP file you are installing, and make sure you has juice.

I do such things when plugged in + at least a 75% charge in case something goes belly up; 50% is what most things say.

Thanks a lot to help me.
My dear, I live in Iran and I think I use of WW (World Wide) version of android!
I want update to the last version of the Prime rom, I download this file in Post 1 in this topic:

ICS Themed Vanilla Release
Prime! V2.0.5 vanilla flavour - Alternate Link
MD5: 3eead34ca825795c92ad39b24f573d1c
Vanilla Patch - CUSTOM OC KERNEL IN POST 2
Prime! V2.0.7 patch
MD5: c1d0b8611b0acb45426021f1f5d716b5

My work is correct?
Can i use of this file? How?
And this version of rom (That I downloaded!) support Persian Language?

I think i have a Prime rom (Build number: HTJ85B.Prime_epad-1.8-20110821), so now i must copy this file (ICS Themed Vanilla Release) in to a SDCard and then go to recovery mode and then?

I hope you understand me, because my language is not English and I have many problems with it! :(

Copy Prime 2.0.5 Vanilla and 2.0.7 patch to the micro sd card
Boot into CWM recovery and chose "Flash zip from sd card"
flash the 2.0.5 first follow by the 2.0.7 patch, reboot, enjoy.

How to turn off screen while device is connected to TV via HDMI cable?

afaik, HDMI = playing back what is actively being displayed on the tablets screen to the output source, so if you do turn the screen off, then it would stop playing back anything to your device because the TF's screen isnt displaying anything and there is probably a lot of re-coding to do to change that

Just as a reminder: Your micro sd card is at /Removable/MicroSD NOT /sdcard. If you just copy the files to /sdcard you won't be able to see them in CWM

And in my Device sho this eror:

Connection failed
You do not have Asuse sync installed or launched on your computer..

But i download the last version of USB Drivers and Asus sync from Asus site and when i connect the device, i can see the device in My computer!

Any themes like either Red or Gold for this? If so, re-direct me...!! Thanks much!

It is fast and stable. Played with it until battery gave up and not a single crash or FC.

Hi everybody, . Installed vanilla with patch 2.7 tonight. It seems to work great. I wiped my device as I experienced since the first prime I had installed some jerky movements when sliding from a window to another.

Everything worked great. I installed also the overclocked kernel V2.0.6 but I'm not sure it's useful to me. Does it bring problems?

I also activated setcpu but once again, not sure it's a good idea as overclock is already in parameters (but not special profiles).

thank you for advising me

    PRIME! v2.1.0 Vanilla

This is a ROM for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101

    Special thanks to: CaNsA | Hacre | afm | MoDaCo | dc13 | supercurio | Bumble-Bee | RaYmAn | netarchy | Vividboarder | CurtisBeef

This rom is a work in progress and all feedback is appreciated. It is build from the stock rom and has a few tweaks added. As always whenever installing any rom, please take care to follow instructions as no one enjoys seeing their prized possesion not working.

    Instructions for CWM Recovery version:
    1. Copy ROM to sdcard
    2. Verify the MD5 of the zip on the sdcard, DO NOT FLASH IF THIS DOESN'T MATCH THE MD5 UNDER THE DOWNLOAD LINK!
    3. Boot into clockworkmod recovery
    4. Take a nandroid backup (optional but highly recommended)
    5. Install the ROM
    6. Reboot and wait... The more apps you have installed the longer the first boot will take... Please note that after the lock screen comes up your TF may be sluggish for a minute while the rom initialises.
    7. Install any available patch versions for cumulative updates between full releases.

    Rom Details:
    Android 3.2.1
    GPS - V5.5.8
    WiFi - V5.2.65
    Bluetooth - V6.24
Kernel - 2.6.36.3 (Stock) - CUSTOM OC KERNEL IN POST 2

    Build - HTK75.prime_epad-2.1.0-20111105
MobileDock Firmware- EP101-0213 (Prompts for install after first boot if required)

See the second post of this thread for the changelog and any optional updates.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NVFLASH VERSION CAN ONLY BE USED ON AN SBK1 DEVICE

Q: Do I need to root before I flash this.
A: No, Simply use the Latest NVFLASH version available to install a custom rom and clockworkmod recovery. Then if required, upgrade to the latest version of Prime.

Q: Do I need to wipe before installing Prime?
A: In general a wipe should not be required if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Prime but if you experience any sluggishness or are coming from another rom then a wipe Should be performed before installing the rom. My advice is to take a backup before installing any rom, give it a try and if you get any errors or issues then perform a factory reset either from Settings - Privacy or perform a wipe from Clockworkmod Recovery.

Q: Do 3G USB Dongles work with this
A: Currently only HUAWEI dongles are working. The 3G settings can be activated by using the 3G Toggler App.

A: Zion is where free humans live.

    Alright.

In general, it is ok to remind members to ask questions in the General or Q&A section of a forum. It is NOT ok to make them point of ridicule if they make a mistake.

Consider this a warning. I will start infracting or banning if this behaviour continues.
