yeah, i know the plat egg kernal is where the issue lies, but right now im fine with stock clocking and just tweaking things here or there, i might try and build a rom here soon im still learning the specifics.

also im going to try my best to edit the power menu as something you guys can push into the system, as long as adjust is ok with this.

None taken. Just started the development today. In any case, I recommend disabling and uninstall V6 Supercharger and installing the collection of Init.D tweaks. (You can't use Supercharger with these, but the scripts do a better job than SuperCharger does anyways)

I still recommend v6supercharger to get the most out of it, trust me it still serves an important role when it comes to ram optimization if you apply the right values on it. Let's face it, Sidekick 4G doesn't have great ram so this definitely helps.

Idk, it worked fine for me so far, but if that's what they're suggesting there's gotta be a reason. Oh well, just play it safe for now and see who's willing to report back to you with results from testing it out.

Running this lately with blaze modem and supercharger v6 and I've had no issues. So much better than other ROMs that would do the triple vibrate then crash.

One feature I would love to see added is the swipe to dismiss single notifications in the notifications Window such as in Cyanogen

ive been trying to do some cosmetic mods, but I've been unable to get an image to stick on the notification bar like in GOV2, I've also have had trouble with the notification bar in general and font colors, Anyone have any ideas about this?

Hey is there any chance you could upload the background image you have in the screenshots on the first post?

I will need to try this out. GOv2 is really starting to get on my nerves. Wife won't let me touch her phone though, it's giving her more problems than it is me.

I have the same problem here, but I never play games and rarely get on Facebook on mine, I think this is her issue.
(Now if I can convince her to try this Smoother, faster, more reliable on hers... :) )

I would like the see the adjustable brightness via sliding the notification bar... that would be GREAT. :)

I have had ZERO issues in testing this today... Thank you.

Because of the sheer amount of downloads I got on GenericGinger 3.4 BETA alone, (204) in just one day, I've decided to release both a beta, and stable version of 3.5, read below to understand.

    3.5 changelog...

*added task manager back from GOV2 (The original Samsung one)
*added Voodoo sound control (for added audio control)
*MAY switch launcher to LauncherPro or Faster Than Light (FTL) more testing is required [in v3.6]
*added Tegrak Overclock (for overclocking ASAP)
*added Swype Beta 3.26 (EXTREMELY BUGGY NEED TO TEST)

Please note : For this particular version, I have released 2 ROMS. One has Swype Beta 3.26, and one doesn't have Swype at all.

If you want to test the ROM with Swype Beta 3.26, go ahead and let us know if it works and has the orange tracing line. If it crashes and is NOT stable, simply just download and flash the 3.5 ROM WITHOUT the Swype.

I might just have to take a break from GOV2 and try this, if I do I'll follow up later, thanks

I saw this got ignored so i wanted to repost.. Or is it possible to add a theme like scarlet's leftovers to it?

Not ignored, I'm going to try to learn how. But I'm not confident with that yet.

BTW, didn't know there was an Android voice, didn't make any sounds for me.
