Just to speakers the same lagguage

Wipe all for me means using Amonra 3.06
Mount system and data from Mount menu.
Wipe all the Voice in Wipe menu except sdcard.
Actually flash zip file for Wipe cache and dalvik cache

Does everibody that have issues with this rom male the same?

I have the same problem curretly...wipe data,dalvik,cache and re-flash the ROM...but it templorary at least for me...

I'va had similar issues in the past, and supposedly it's due to a database corruption of some sort. I've had similar problems before, but not on this ROM version. Not sure what the actual cause is, but... do you use Titanium Backup to restore your phone after installing a new ROM? If so, don't restore system with TiBU, just the apps. Also, so use any kind of a2sd? Anyway, if you do run into this problem, the following method should fix it:

1. Open Terminal Emulator.
2. Type su then press enter.
3. Type in the following, then press enter:

sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db "INSERT INTO secure (name,value) VALUES ('device_provisioned','1');"
4. Exit Terminal Emulator.
5. Reboot the phone.

Your home button should be working now, and the other issues should be resolved as well. You will still have to reconfigure the Google Account, etc., but everything should be fine after that.

Sorry to hear about your phone's loss. Try remotely installing Plan B on your P500 -- if you're lucky, you might even be able to track the thief. As for a HTC Desire V forum on XDA, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated forum for it. The next best thing would probably to search for individual threads. :(

@neko can u make a mod for softkeys that is separated from status bar.... statusbar on the top and softkeys in the bottom. and resizable status bar. ive tried it on cyanmobile rom but it is slow when opening apps and lockscreen. its a good rom but need improvement.. please.... ^____^


on the other hand about v2.3 why is that the model number is P690? instead of P500? i also cannot install tun.ko.,,,

a2sd conflict ??

Ok so im mostly a silent observer, and dont post unless neccessary or to help if no one helps. This time im in need of help. :|

used GB after a loong time, was mainly on ICS and JB.. but want stability and video now, but i think there are some conflicting bugs with a2sd scripts in the ROM, and S2E ? can someone who's used S2E on v2.3 guide us as to how they did it ? its causing some trouble or the other.. temme if more details are needed..

On gs 2.3 , stock kernel, stock everything.. btw amazing smoothness ! :D

This mean that installing the FULL 2.3 we don't need anymore a2sd script? dc2sd is already working on the rom "as is"?

Now I've installed 2.0 and darktremor script, everything works fine. I have tried to install 2.3 and darktremot script, but it seems that this combination is not working on my p500. Would you (or somebody else here) clarify if a2sd script is already present in the rom?

a2sd scripts seem to be installed on the ROM but there are a lot of conflicts with other a2sd scripts/apps, like s2e... however, link2sd seems to be working just fine till now. im testing right now with it. tested the whole day with s2e but couldnt get s2e working, no matter what.. So, cant enjoy unlimited space that s2e offers by moving even /data to ext.. however, im happy with link2sd for now.. but using an app for ext partition just doesn't feel right :p feels like a noob l.o.l ! :D :p

There are no built in a2sd scripts in this rom. Please re-read the features and changelog.

I have read every single post on this thread and the discussion thread. If people would read what the developer says then there would only be half the questions here because they are usually answered.

If i have offended you too bad. I would just like you to get the answers you deserve and by asking in the wrong place you may not get an answer.

that happened to me twice. first time with version 2.1 and then flashed version 2.2, after a month it happened again.....now i flashed version 2.3....i hope it will be ok.....
i love your rom, but it is a serious bug, plz neko try to fix it....

Have you tried deleting everything before installing the ROM? I don't have those kind of problems with this ROM.

    PRUDENCE to all ROM porters and modders, Any ports from other device is granted and YOU as the porter do not need to ask any permissions on ME as the OP of this ROM i.e (ICy Snap for lg p500), BUT you MUST notify me as the ONLY condition, I dont like to see a ROM's originally from our section and called it YOURS on other device section. Proper CREDITS should also be given..
    Another PRUDENCE, RE-POSTING of the same ROM with just some small changes etc.. on the same section is NOT PERMITTED, we dont need two same thing, that just doesnt make sense, but if the case is for improvements.. lets just help each other on this.

    Volume step modifications: system volume/ui/voice from 7 steps to 5, media volume from 30 steps to 20 (knowing our device have hard to press volume rockers, this is a relief)

    Installation instruction:
    Method #1: If your from previous version (1.1) and have used d2ext command, wipe system,dalvik and cache only DO NOT wipe data, after Installation run d2ext and reboot, all precious data will be revived.
    Method #2: if your from any other ROM fullwipe is required, flashing w/o wiping data is NOT GUARANTEED to work.
    Method #3: after flashing ROM doing method 1 or 2, you must reboot to apply patches for LG white-halo theme

    ROM size explanation: patcher size is 5.50MB after rebooting patcher will replace system apps that needs patch and delete it's self from system partition, get free 5.50MB space from system partition after your 1st reboot.

    Implanted and rewrite CronMod Data to EXT, get increased data partition using your ext sd partition, THIS SCRIPT IS NOT ENABLED by Default

    WARNING: if some how you disabled d2ext and experience a Bootloop, MUST wipe data to resolve, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

    • Reboot to recovery
    • MUST wipe data, dalvik-cache, system, sdext
    • Optional: wipe battery status and reboot recovery (quick calibrate)
    • Flash the ROM and wait for the installation to finish
    • Reboot and Enjoy ICySnap
