Yes managed to root without problem but can't update superSU in normal mode when it asks "SU binary needs to be updated, Continue?". It says
"Installation failed please reboot and try again".
Apart from that superSU works just fine, meaning that it prompts if a program is trying to access root:good::good:

Try install SuperSU with older version not the one at playstore. I don't remember what version. But the old version I install I get from this forum. You can try searching at xperia. Z forum. After install then update. So far no problem to me.

Just use SuperSU V 1.99

Or the new version 2.00

http://download.chainfire.eu/450/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.00.zip

Just unzip and install superuser.apk, so you dont need to install a recovery.

Greetings Lemmi.

I try install Super-SU 1.99 via recovery
first I install dual recovery to my device from this thread :
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2471981

after that i try to flash SuperSu1.99 (zip file), after done, I lost my root status !

I try root again and install SuperSu 2.00 from Playstore and everything is working okay now.

SuperSU issues have been solved.

I had to get my superSU working the long way... but now it has been fixed(updated by its dev).

For those still wanting to root just root your phone as stated and go over to the Google Play and get the apk https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu, it has been updated to the V2.00 and should not give you any binary update issues anymore.
If you want to flash it from recovery then use this V2.00 zip to get the job done.http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu

Note: you only need to use one method of installing superSU to get it to work. They are the same.

working

Confirmed working on Nordic NCB 4.4.2 after clean install.
However, SuperSU (from PlayStore) needed a restart, it only worked after that. At first it could not install.

I am now trying the "Battery Drain Fix" now and if that is OK, KitKat is a keeper. (otherwise back to my 4.2.2 backup)

Great Job, thanks - this is revolutionary.

I notice 2 things:
1. I succeeded in rooting my ZR on Indian 4.3 firmware but after installing Link2SD my phone entered infinite bootloop. Dead to SONY logo to XPERIA logo then to colourful waves and back to dead. Removing SD card allows proper boot.

2. Phone seems slow. Particularly I feel like 3D acceleration does not work or something. Scrolling is slow, pages appear slow, animations are not smooth / none.
