hi,
i have tried to install this ROM but SIM is not recognized.
My previous ROM was Cyanogemod 10, would i had to downgrade Gingerbread official before?
thank you a lot
wow finally a comment, I was getting bored here. The installation instructions are simple ; official froyo(huawei)-official gingerbread-official ICS-custom roms you want. But if you were on cm10 you have to downgrade to official gb first to get this ROM.
i was wrong beacause i read "Any ICS" on First Page...Thank you.
Now, from 47 hours to download frome the chinese website try again...
last question, the procedure that i have to apply is:
- official Gingerbread
- unlock bootloader
- Put Recovery modify
- apply procedure for install this ROM
is it correct?
or bootloader and recovery remains after install Gingerbread official?
thank you

You can install it over froyo too.
Dude, what the hell.If you are not sure why do you give such advice?
Have you seen in ANY GB custom rom installation note something like ''You can install it over ICS''? Gingerbread rom needs GB base to work correctly..
It's an easy misunderstanding. When Kalo opened the thread and wrote that:
...no official ICS firmware had been released, so by saying ''any ICS Rom'' he meant some ICS ports based on GB baseband.PREREQUISITES - ATTENTION PLEASE
a) ROM
Gingerbread 2.3.5 Stock Huawei version (B512, B521, B540, B552, B565, B572)
or any customized Gingerbread ROM (CyanogenMod, MIUI, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7)
or any ICS Rom (DZO Aurora, Genokolar MIUI v4);
Yes, you're right ..
I think 95% of the guys, which using ICS based roms, they never flash a GB based rom, and they don't know even how to downgrade to GB.
They care only for those crappy ICS based roms and nothing more.

How could I know that lol. I'm still kinda new here, less than a year or so. Anyway I already said that the best and most clean install is over official gingerbread. Also if you download official ICS or GB (not sure) huawei gives you instructions on how top downgrade from ICS to GB.

I just said what kalo says on the first post "any ICS". How could I know that official ICS was not released by then?

It does not matter whether official ICS came before kalo's release or not.. Common sense says that this ROM requires the BASEBAND of GB..
...is kind of misleading for new members.PREREQUISITES - ATTENTION PLEASE

People I know the basic about android. Neither I'm a dev nor I'm here for so long to know that. The time that huawei released ICS has nothing to do with my knowledge. kalo clearly stated that you can install this over any ICS ROM and kalo was a dev so I thought it was correct and got confused like other members. I know that he should install this over GB and that's why i said that the best and most clean install is over GB.

If you know the basics of android, why would you even post a ROM?
