Post back if you guys get the Sleep of Death.

Also, what should I be pulling to get the log for the Sleep of Death?

What exactly is the "Sleep of Death?". I search but it seems to be used to reference not waking up and freezes in general.
I ask because I was running the nightlies for about a month and my device would lock solid about once a day requiring a battery pull. Trying to determine if that was what I was experiencing.
I finally had to roll back to a TW ROM for stability.

I think this is probably related, as this also happens to me at least once a day, but the Sleep of Death is when the phone is on but the screen won't turn on from sleep. I'd guess that Sleep of Death is like what you described but it occurs when the screen is off instead of on.

FYI. The 5/30 build definitely doesn't do that.

http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=22979706399753841 I put the old RIL back in place without reverting other changes. Please try this if you have been having issues.

We have one successful flash. Anyone else tried this yet?

Ok. Either way, I am on the 6/3 build sbrissen posted and it hasn't happened yet so I'm happy now. Maybe it was related to the RIL changes? We'll see.

So that's 2 successful flashes. I'm downloading now.

That build sbrissen posted is working for me. That's 3. I'd say that fixed it.

Hey Guys,

I just tried flashing 6/3 (clean wipe, data, dalvik, cache cache, fix perm) and my phone app (when you call someone) force closes.

So i wiped everything again, tried 6/3 again, same thing. i tried every single one back until 5/28 and phone works again. Any ideas?

Also, my GPS hasn't worked since I came from stock to cm10.1 :(

I went to get a log of the 6-3 nightly and could not make the problem occur... Would have severe crashes on every build after 5-30 but this one worked for me. Here is the log anyway I guess :p

Will run this build today and see if anything odd happens.
Well I flashed the 604 nightly and the problem returned for me... then I flashed back to the 603 nightly and the issues continued. I have no idea why 603 worked for me briefly but sbrissen's 603 build did the trick for me this time.

All of the flashes were dirty with a cache/dalvik wipe, don't have time during the week to try anything else ;)

I had brief issues in 6/3 with the phone causing FC's in contacts, so I cleared data for phone, phone storage, contacts, and contacts storage and let Google re-sync my contacts. Lost call logs, but otherwise fixed the FC when opening the dialer.

For the people on the newer updates how is MMS working out?

On 5/29 nightly the MMS I send are super grainy and jagged.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Progress is being made. My 10.2 builds are compiling OK now. I can flash and boot to the homescreen but anything I try to launch causes a soft reboot.
Mine do the same and I have no cell signal. I think I messed up loading the props. Let me know if you make any progress or maybe slickrick will shine some light on the subject
Pick these 4 commits and you should be good.

Thank you sbrissen for developing for this awesome device and all of our donators who made it possible! None of this would have happened without you guys :)

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back!
    1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
    2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
    3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
    4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
    5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
    6. Multiwindow. There is no alternative, dont ask.
And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)
    Code:
    [URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myboyfriendisageek.stickit"]Stick it! (Pop-up Player)[/URL]
[URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nil&hl=en"]MoboPlayer[/URL]- It's another very capable, free video player with floating player functionality. Plus its free!

DO NOT USE 20121011 GAPPS OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES, USE 20121212 GAPPS.

If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

alright, I'm good with the phone logs. I submitted a change for speaker phone and it got merged so tonight's should have MOAR VOLUMEZ on speaker.

Still working on BT and gps.

and still looking for logs of apps where the mic isn't working.

I'll be starting a cm10.2 thread shortly. For anyone thinking of flashing back to 10.1, not going to happen unless you do a clean install so backup first! A couple databases were updated and cannot be reverted.
