Not everyone likes TWRP, and options are always good. So, I ported CWM to the VZW Note 2. Now that it was ported, Koush built us official images as well, so now we can get CWM Touch. Flash the new images via ROM Manager, download them yourself from the ClockworkMod site, or I've packaged the current builds (v6.0.3.4) in flashable zips for your convenience.

Download
Standard CWM
Touch CWM
UNOFFICIAL Touch CWM w/exFAT support

Known Issues
External SD Card doesn't work if it is exFAT, FAT32 should be unaffected

Thanks
Koush for building the official images for us

Useful Things
Enable only one "No" when going to flash a zip
Code:
adb shell touch /sdcard/clockworkmod/.one_confirm

Hide files being backed up during nandroid (speeds it up a little)
Code:
adb shell touch /sdcard/clockworkmod/.hidenandroidprogress

Perform incremental backups rather than full backups every time (faster on subsequent backups)
Code:
adb shell "echo dup > /sdcard/clockworkmod/.default_backup_format"

Not everyone likes TWRP, and options are always good. So, I ported CWM to the VZW Note 2. It comes in two flavors, one flashed in recovery, the other flashed via Odin. Pick which ever you'd like and enjoy :) I'll also work on getting it moved to an official version then as well. If people would like to continue seeing stuff from me, I will need to actually get a Note 2 at some point, and you can help by clicking here.

Download
Recovery Flash
Odin Flash

Known Issues
ADB isn't working in recovery, will work on fixing this then
External Backup not working

Thanks
Koush for CWM source code
Team Hacksung and CyanogenMod for some stuff from the N7100 and the rest of the source code
sbrissen for his L900 work as another reference
The people that put their big boy pants on and tested it

Thanks Mark...Even though your a flyers fan you are still cool in my book :) Great work!

Good afternoon. Thank you for providing the CWM option for recovery. I would like to request the possibility of added a DTG (Date/Time Group) for future development of this recovery. It will help community, identify when a newer verision of this recovery becomes availalble.

Again, that's for your support for this device and previous devices. What a great community we have here!!

When I update the thread again with a new build, I'll put the date in the topic title, as I do with all of my topics. Hopefully though, we can get an official build though soon, so this thread wouldn't be needed then.

Updated the Known Issue. I think the reason the external SD Card was reported as not working was due to it being exFAT. If anyone has an SD Card formatted as FAT32, it should work fine to read/write to the SDCard. I'll look in to fixing this then, but I don't know if it's possible from my brief searching.
