?? Flashtool is used to flash ftf.

Thanks, of course it is.
I've read a lot about flashing a rom to Xperias because my telco is still on 681 (they haven't released 757 yet and no news about 761 onwards from them) but haven't done it yet because users are still reporting the notification bug anyway. Still should have remembered it's flashtool you use, pretty sure I've already downloaded it in case I get the sudden urge to flash a more recent build.

Yeah..i guess as long as the kernel is the same (757 and 761), the notification bug still exist. But I could live with that even if it's quite annoying.

I have 761 from this thread. I dont have notofication bug... I had on 757. I have other sounds set as notofication and for calling and i swear that there isnt sound bug. Maybe this sound bug is for default sounds only

Updated from 757 to 761 using Sony PC companion. Did a factory reset afterwards. Annoyingly and disappointingly notification bug still present. Although battery life seems to have been crazily optimised. At least according to the stock "estimated battery time", almost 2 days normal and 3+ days stamina. This seems pretty optimistic to say the least, but we'll see. UK resident, phone bought from carphone warehouse.

Updated today, now it wont charge from my laptop's USB ports, from what I had available here in the office only place it worked was on the back of an Apple Cinema Display... WEIRD !?

It still says connected to PC but does not charge..

I tried on 2 different laptop's on the back of DELL monitor and then finally an Apple cinema display.. only place I got it working..

Will try when i get home on my magnetic cable..

edit: checked to see if it would charge when turned off.. it does.......

Has anyone found a changelog yet for the .761?

I've had no sound stuttering issues but problems with bluetooth dropouts since the move to .757

Anyone notice anything 'fixed' since the .761 flash?

I still use the notification bug quick fix, so cant comment on that. Had no more random reboots now so far though. The quickboot option in dev options wont work though, just blocks powering off for me?

Because this is like in htc your phone "hibernate" and use very very low ppwer but never off thats why phone can boot so quickly.

Trivial question, I know, but... does the NO firmware give "LTE" and "H+" indicators, or just "4G"?

Can I use this ROM to relock the bootloader? I'm currently on CM11 and my microphone has packed in so need to send it back to sony. I'm aware that I need to put a pure stock ROM on before relocking the bootloader. If this ROM isn't suitable can someone please let me know which ROM I need to do it.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't found the official changelog but I have created an unofficial one to help out the team at Sony since they are probably too busy customizing their new Galaxy S5s. It seems quite obvious that they have never used the Z1c otherwise all those bugs would have driven them nuts and they would have fixed them by now. Here it goes:

- Most important change: Changed the LTE icon on top to show 4G now
- Didn't fix the touchscreen issues that have been present since the launch firmware.
- Didn't fix the stuttering sounds issue.
- Didn't fix the random reboot problems.
- Introduced a slew of new Bluetooth bugs
- Changed marketing slogan to: "Xperia: Amazing hardware crippled by POS software."

NB: Kernel is same version as on 757.

(PS: I have a UK phone, but use Nordic firmware as it receives the fastest updates -- there is no noticeable difference otherwise)

I noticed that new.update eliminated bug with notification sound which i had in 757. After clean install for now no lag with notification sound:)

    Hi,
I'm from Bulgaria, and I'm wondering if I flash with the flashtool this Rom will it be OK with my region and will I have normal update after. Is there any specific things with the radio or something to be sure that the phone will be OK with this Rom.

Considering the radio standards all across Europe are essentially the same, and it is labelled as having has the "EURO-LTE" SW as essentially any other customization I have seen, I doubt there is any difference. It has all the languages and country options to select from so essentially is global in that respect too. The reason "Nordic" comes out first seems to be for no other reason than because Sony Mobile's software team is based in Sweden.

I did a clean install, I even wiped data before and after flashing. The stuttering notification bug STILL exist.
